The Church of St. James, as part of the UNESCO heritage, and the Interpretation Center "Civitas Sacra"  hide not only the history of the diocese of Šibenik, but also the story of the perseverance of the people of Šibenik (priests, nobles, but also the poor) who, through joint action and a single goal, created the monumental "holy city" (e.g. "civitas sacra").
