Meet the real birds of prey

The Falconry Center - an association that has been active for 35 years and is located in a dense pine forest, only 8 kilometers from Šibenik is where you can come and have a face to face experience with birds of prey, which represent the very top of the food chain!

This is a place where a group of experts and volunteers is taking care of about 120 injured birds of prey every year and releases them to their natural habitat after a successful recovery. The Falconry Center has been operating as an institution in the system of recovery centers for wild animals of the Republic of Croatia since 2010 and has a bird DNA bank, as well as the atlas of feathers used to reconstruct the damaged wings of birds.

In addition, in the Center you can even learn about falconry - an ancient skill of hunting with a falcon whose origins date back to 5000 BC.
