Site visit - Split
Responding to the key themes of the Forum: DEMOCRACY and EQUALITY, this visit also includes a review of related fields of interest, such as care for marginalized persons, those with special needs, war veterans, the elderly population and also development of volunteerism, at the same time providing an insight into the activities of organizations dedicated to action at the local, regional, national, but also international level, that are dealing with these topics.
The common denominator of the visit is the word SOLIDARITY, and the visit itself will take place in the form of an organized 'walk' through some of the most famous views of the City of Split, with several stations/places where civil society organizations related to the mentioned topics will be presented in an interactive way.
During this 'philanthropic walk', a story of solidarity in Split will be told, and all participants will be introduced to the most prominent people or events from the history of a particular thematic place, before arriving at the next station, so that they can take part in the described interactive programs.
